First of all, this movie is called Lucky Number Slevin, not Lucky Number Seven. When I was at the Box Office, everyone called it "Lucky Number Seven", and people mis-pronouncing movie names is a pet peeve of mine, so I just wanted to make sure that after reading this review, if you want to see this movie, you'll call it by it's correct name.

Lucky Number Slevin stars Josh Hartnett as Slevin, a man who has the worst luck imaginable. In one day he gets fired, mugged, and finds his girlfriend cheating on him in his apartment. After not having anywhere to go, he stays at a Friend's (Nick, who is no where in site) house. After meeting the bubbly Lindsey (Lucy Liu), Slevin gets kidnapped because of a case of mistaken identity. He now owes a mob boss (Morgan Freeman) $96,000, or a favor...but he really doesn't because he's not Nick. This is where the movie begins.

Lucky Number Slevin is a very stylized movie. It has some really smooth dialogue, which was all greatly read by Josh Hartnett. All the actors are perfectly cast, and do justice to the great script. There isn't much action in the movie, but when there is, it has style. The movie flows well, and leaves all questions you have answered. It's one of the few movies you walk out of feeling satisfied, and entertained. Lucky Number Slevin is exploding with style, and is the best crime time movie to date.
