So, finally, the summer movie we've all been waiting for has finally come. Mission Impossible 3 came out May 5th, 2006. I got to see it May 4th, 2006. And in my opinion, it was awesome.

As you all know, Mission Impossible 3 is about an elite group of spies that are part of a government agency known as the IMF(Impossible Mission Force). And as always, the movie revolves around the agency's best agent, Ethan Hunt. In this third installment of the MI series, Ethan Hunt has settled down and is actually getting married. He still works for the IMF, but he only trains the new field agents.

The movie starts with Ethan and his fiance, Julia, celebrating with their family and friends on the big annoucment that they are getting married. In the middle of the party, Ethan gets a phone call from a mysterious person. He leaves and goes to meet his boss at the IMF. His boss tells him that one of Ethan's top students has been captured and they want Ethan to rescue her. He says no at first, but a few minutes later, decides to go after her.

He joins up with his old partner, played by Ving Rhames, along with some new recruits. Ethan Finds out that she was captured by a man who deals in highly dangerous weapons. This man is Owen Davian(Phillip Seymour Hoffman). Mission Impossible 3 has great action scenes and has a great storyline. I loved it and it did not dissappoint me at all. It truely lives up to the standards of the MI series.

Final Score: 4.5/5 stars
