Children of Men
Sad post apocalyptic tale that does a beautiful job of creating atmosphere
Review by Sirus

“Children of Men” is the story of a future in the year 2027 where women are infertile and the British government has finally turned its back on illegal immigrants. Theo (Clive Owen) is sucked into a plan by some immigrants’ rights activists to transport a pregnant young woman to the Human Project. The Human Project is rumored to be a group of the greatest human minds who they hope can figure out the answer to the infertility. Along the way many people die in what is one of the most exciting, gripping thrillers in a while.

“Children of Men” is a sad post apocalyptic tale that does a beautiful job of creating atmosphere. Its interesting to see a movie that stays away from explaining and instead leaves things open for interpretation. “Children of Men” was exciting and gripping but for some reason feels like it’s missing something in the end. People should watch it for a good ride and some thought provoking themes.

Final Score: 4/5
