Ha ha ha, The Master Dack is back with Burnout: Revenge. I recently got into the driver's seat and got to test drive this gem. Burnout Revenge is the 4th entry into the series, a sequel to 2004’s racing game of the year. So, how do you make the best racing game even better? Go back to its roots.
Burnout Revenge is a lot like the first two games in the series; it has the old handling style back, same drifting, and it just seems like the first Burnout. This is a great thing, because although Burnout 3: Takedown was a great game, it was not much like the first couple games in the series. However, they added a lot of great features, and it had multi-million dollar powerhouse EA behind it. Well, Burnout: Revenge looks and feels like Burnout 1 with all the great added features of Burnout 3, such as those punk-pop tunes everybody loves, takedowns, fast cars, and other great features.
But Burnout: Revenge brings its own new style and features to the table too. There are now alternate routes to take; crash mode golf; the Crashbreaker, formerly only in crash mode in Burnout 3, in races; and the speed... ohhhh yes, the speed. In Burnout: Revenge you feel like you are going at Mach 1 when you’re going at about 180 MPH. It’s heart stopping, just like this game.
Dack got your back, Burnout: Revenge.
