Superbad
If you are a person that enjoys life, you owe it to yourself to see "Superbad".
Review by Dack

With "Superbad", we've now established that any project with Judd Apatow's name on it is going to be pure gold. Judd Apatow and crew have redeemed comedy films with such gems as Knocked Up, and The 40 Year Old Virgin. Superbad is another hilarious, entertaining, and overall identifiable comedy with a fresh type of humor.

"Superbad" is about two high schoolers, Seth (Jonah Hill), and Evan (Micheal Cena). What seemed like another boring day at school soon turned into quite the adventure after Seth and Evan get invited to a party where the two girls they are infatuated with will be at. When Seth learns that he needs to get the alcohol for the party, the two friends have to turn to the nerdy Fogul (soon to become McLovin) to get it for them. The entire film takes place during only one day, which makes the film more realistic and paced well. Most of "Superbad" is split up into two storylines; Seth and Evan getting to the big party, and McLovin with two cops (Seth Rogen, Bill Hader). Almost every scene with McLovin and the cops was hilarious, making it the funnier of the two storylines, however, the Seth/Evan story is hilarious too, and has more of a plot and message. The humor of "Superbad" is very raunchy, although it's never in poor taste, and rings true with real life situations.

We've been graced with some truly classic comedies this year. Hopefully, other directors will take note from films like "Superbad" and "Knocked Up" and the slew of terrible teen comedies will stop. If you are a person that enjoys life, you owe it to yourself to see "Superbad".

Superbad won the summer. It, combined with 40 Year Old Virgin and Knocked Up, saved the raunchy comedy genre, and did it with style. McLovin inspired me to do great things with my life, and the movie leaves you with a good feeling inside, because sometimes the mildly unattractive man CAN get the girl that is hot! I mean, that's not me. Seriously, I get ladies ALL the time. But it makes me feel good to know that the less fortunate among us can also be picky about looks. Basically I am saying to you: Go see this movie. It will make you more attractive to the ladies.
