Back in the days of the N64 there were many games that caught the eyes of gamers alike. Titles like The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and 007: Goldeneye. But there was one game that stood out from the rest, a unique game featuring a moderate collection of characters from the Nintendo empire. I’m speaking, of course, about Super Smash Brothers. THIS GAME WAS SUPER, DUPER CEREAL. Characters that ranged from Link to Captain Falcon beat the living crap out of each other for really, no purpose at all.

With the release of the Gamecube, came the incredible sequel to the smash hit, Super Smash Brothers: Melee. The game came equipped with a MASSIVE selection of Nintendo characters. Melee featured all of the previous characters including many others such as Zelda, Peach, Ice Climbers, Marth, Falco and Bowzer. The graphics were tremendously improved along with much faster paced action. There was virtually no loading times and the addition of the “Event Matches” gave pros a chance to really test their skills. All of the characters’ movements and attacks were well balanced making it one of the best multiplayer games out there.

There wasn’t really anything bad about this game. Glitches were air tight and physics weren’t a problem. There was one thing I missed from the first one though, the fact that you could no longer see Samus naked when she got shocked. Damn she’s hot.
