Star Wars Knights Of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords
Platform: Xbox
An excellent "Star Wars" game.

There is only one word that can be used to describe this game: Wow. As you know, Sith lords is the sequel to Star Wars: Knights of the old republic. Due to this fact, my initial response was that it would not be as good as the original. Boy, was I wrong. Not only was it better than the original, it is probably the best Star Wars game out there. There was no vast improvement on the graphics for this sequel, but that is no problem. The graphics were already great. The thing that has made this game stand out more than the rest is what you can actually do during gameplay. To start off, in this game, your character starts as a Jedi. That means that you can start getting force powers right away. Another improvement is that there are far better upgrades for your armor and weapons. The next two additions are what really make the game. In the original Knights of the old republic, you could only change your characters affiliation with the light or dark side. In this installment, you can actually decide who in your party is light and who is dark. In some cases, this leads to certain characters becoming Jedi or Sith.
The second biggest addition are the prestige classes. There are six of them in all. Three are affiliated with the light side and three are affiliated with the dark side of the foce. The Jedi prestige classes are as follows, Jedi Master, Jedi Watchman, and Jedi Weaponmaster. The three Sith prestige classes are Sith lord, Sith Assassin and Sith Marauder. All of these prestige classes lead to bonus powers, feats and attributes.
The story of the game is also better.
It is five years after the end of the first Knights of the old republic. The Jedi order has almost been eradicated by the Sith and the republic is crumbling. You are an outcast Jedi who has been out of touch with force ever since the end of the Mandalorian wars. Early in the game, you make a discovery that the Sith are planning to destroy the Jedi once and for all. The Sith believe you to be the last of the Jedi and are hunting you relentlessly. You know that this can not be true so you decide to go find the remaining Jedi. This is where you make the big decision. You can either choose to roundup the remaining Jedi in a last effort to stop the Sith, or you can choose to turn to the Dark side and hunt down and kill all the other Jedi. Along the way, you regain your ability to use the force and you meet alot of characters from the first Knights of the old republic.
In all, I think that this is an excellent game and if you are an avid fan of Star Wars, you will like it. And even if you are not that into Star Wars, you will like it just as well for its fighting and story line. Just think of it as fable, but with less control and movement, but with everything just as good.
