Yeah, I saw Jackass 2 last weekend. I went into that movie knowing that I would enjoy it. I knew that it would get some laughs and maybe some gags, but I never knew I would like it as much as I did.

It’s all the same this time around. Knoxville and his gang of rag-tag retards are back to entertain. Now I say retards because they bring the gags and stunts in this film to a whole new level of crazy. The cast includes all of the old favorites: Jonny Knoxville, Steve-O, Ryan Dunn, Bam Margera, Danger Erin, Wee-Man, and all of the other people who I forgot because I was laughing so hard. As some people might know, a studio gives a film a certain budget to spend on the making of a movie. Now, normally a movie will take full advantage of that budget or even go over it. But, the Jackass movie is one of those magical movies that doesn’t take up its budget in filming, due to its simplicity. So, with this extra money, the tradition now has been to have a really big opening scene (many of you will remember the giant shopping cart of the first movie). In this movie you are looking down a street with a cloud of smoke blocking most of your view. Suddenly, out of the mist, you see all of the cast running in slow motion with frightened looks on their faces. Why are they frightened, you ask? Because 20 seconds later you find out that there is a pack of angry bulls chasing them (and yes, its real). They all sprint into various areas, cars, houses, trash bins, ect. And they all seem to get hurt by one or more bulls, including wee-man who is attacked by a baby bull. That is basically the opening scene, and it is awesome, very cinematic and beautiful.

As I said earlier, they take the stunts in this movie to a whole new level. For example, Knoxville getting hit strait on by an angry yak (and that was take 2!) Another including Steve-O almost getting his foot bitten off by a shark. Also including amongst these new crazy stunts are some less painful but just as funny gags, some including the old person make-up. Now, all of these combine to make a very funny movie. I must say that it got more laughs out of me than any “well-plotted” comedy I’ve seen this year. The only thing I regret about seeing this movie is having to deal with all of the yelling screaming, for lack of a better word, jackasses in the theatre. But I suppose all of those people add to the whole experience of seeing this movie. One more warning, if you are a person who is concerned about how intelligent you are and what our IQ is, you WILL lose at least 10 IQ points by seeing this movie, its that stupid, but in a good way. As my closing statement you should probably, see this movie, it will get almost anyone to laugh. And to the parents who would actually bring a small child to this (yes some actually did) please call child services and ask them to take your child right now because you are a bad parent. Otherwise, if you are over 17, knock yourself out, as they seem to do so much in the movie.

Overall score: 4.5 (the .5 off is for lack of plot, sorry guys.)
