Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay
Guilt-free humor that wants you to have a good time.
Review by Dack

One thing that comedies need is quotes from the movie that will live on years after the film has departed from the box office. Does Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay have any jokes or gags so funny that they make the movie unforgettable? Well, “You boys ready for your cockmeat sandwich?” was worth the admission alone and will live on in various t-shirts forever.

Harold and Kumar 2 picks up from where the first outing left off. The boys are at home flushing out their fast food and getting ready to go to Amsterdam. Their trip gets derailed, however, when Kumar tries to light a bong on the plane, making passengers think the “arab” was wielding a bomb. The duo are thrown into Guantanamo Bay and escape shortly after. Now Harold and Kumar are on a journey for their freedom, meeting new and familiar faces along the way such as Mr. Neil Patrick Harris.

The plot of course is an excuse to jam pack as many jokes possible, which the movie does quite well. I was constantly laughing throughout the movie, which should be normal. Now, of course, your enjoyment of the film will be contingent upon what you find funny, but if you loved the first Harold and Kumar, you're certain to love the sequel – guilt-free humor that wants you to have a good time.
