This game was not all it was cracked up to be in magazines before it came out. I was a little disappointed. Most people gave Fable a dark and evil look before they actually knew that it wasn’t so dark and evil. There was a lot of compensation for that though.
I enjoyed playing the game a lot. There were a lot of RPG values in it that blew everything else away. The sound in "Fable" was outta this world. There were no text conversations; all voice, baby! The graphics are deceiving at first. All of the character models are cartoonish, but one thing’s for sure, "Fable" has great lighting effects! The shadows and beams of light were amazing. The customization of this game was enormous. From clothes and weapons to tattoos and haircuts, your character could also be named and have sex! I think the best part of this game was the exploration. The world in this game is giant. Think of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time’s world and double it.
There were some things about this game that I didn’t enjoy so much. One of these issues is that if you did something wrong, you couldn’t do something else. Also, the stats took way too long to raise! My character didn’t get good until the freaking end of the game! And after the game ends, there’s only so much you can do. It stinks after you beat it, and if you made any mistakes, you have to replay it. Overall, I liked this game.
