Let's face it. When an entire movie is filmed at a real Costco, it's
not going to end well.
Employee of The Month stars Dane Cook as an average guy who is a
terrible employee and even a worse person. He envy's the hotshot
cashier, Dax Shepard, who gets all of the fame and glory of making
$5.65 an hour, while poor Dane Cook only makes $5.50. This is all fine
and dandy, until Jessica Simpson joins the Costco...errr...Super Cost
team. She has a thing for the employee of the month, Dane Cook has a
thing for bad actors, so it's obvious what needs to be done; Dane Cook
must become slightly less of a loser. And for 104 minutes of unfunny
film, Dane Cook tries to become employee of the month.
Employee of the Month is one of the worst comidies I've ever seen, and
the lowest rated movie on Marvel-Ous.com to date. I didn't laugh out
loud once. I snickered quietly a few times, and snickered alot when
all the idiots in the theatre laughed, so I fit in, but I never
actually laughed. That's pretty terrible for a comedy. Especially
since I laughed more during The amazing movie that opened the same day
as this crapfest, The Departed. And that was an action movie!
Jessica Simpson is a terrible actor. Seriously, you can tell she
doesn't like anyone but her, and she's playing a cashier at a store,
even though the only thing Jessica Simpson has ever sold is bad
CD's...oh wait, no one bought them. Dane Cook was alright. He didn't
do anything new, and his preformance is easily forgettable. The best
acting came from the always funny Dax Shepard who gave a few
memorable lines, and tried to save this terrible movie.
It all comes down to this. If you want to see an unfunny movie, with
unfunny actors, and waste unfunny money, then see X-Men 3.
...Don't see Employee of The Month.
