Star Wars Battlefront II
Platform: PSP
Can't get enough Battlefront
Review by Mideon
Star Wars Battlefront II was the most anticipated Star Wars game to be released since its predecessor hit the shelves one year ago. When I heard about it coming out for the PSP, I was ecstatic. I had no idea that it would come out for the PSP. Infact I didn't belive it until I turned on my PSP, and sure enough, Battlefront II.
Star Wars Battlefront II will melt your socks off. It is very similar to the first Battlefront, with some of the same battlefields, and additonal new battlefields designed for PSP. What’s so great about this one is that you can play as characters from the newer Star Wars movies as well. And if that doesn’t tickle your fancy, you can also go at it with the other team in an all out fighter pilot fight! In the game you play through all the different planets that were shown in the movies and then some. You can play as four different opposing factions, Rebel, Empire, CIS, and the Republic. You can choose from doing galactic conquests or just completing single-player challenges that test your expertise in the game. The great thing about Star Wars Battlefront 2 for the PSP is that it has three exclusive challenges that were made specifically for the PSP. Take that you other consoles!! So, now for the down side. The game has pretty long loading times, but what can you expect when a little disc packs so much chaos and destruction. The music during battle is all the ass kickin’ music that was in all the Star Wars movies, and I found myself humming along with the song while I was playing. Yes, I’ll admit that I'm a big Star Wars nerd, and I just couldn't get enough of this game.
